Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?

No you do not need a referral to see a physiotherapist. All you need to do is call up and make an appointment!

How long are your appointments?

We allow 30 minutes for our appointments as this allows for a thorough assessment and treatment.

Can I choose a male or female physiotherapist?

We have both male and female practitioner and we are happy to accommodate requests to make you feel comfortable.

Can your physiotherapists treat pre and post natal patients?

Yes, our physiotherapists are qualified and experienced in treating both pre and post natal patients. We do always recommend consulting your medical practitioner before commencing a new exercise program.

Can I claim a rebate from my health insurer?

We can process claims immediately through our HICAPS system however the amount of your rebate is determined by your health insurer and your policy.

Do you work with kids?

Yes we work with children of all ages. Our therapists are passionate about providing children and adolescents with the very best of care.

Do you see sports injuries?

Yes we often see people suffering from injury as a result of sport. Many of our staff are keen sports people themselves and understand the greater demands athletes place on themselves as a result of their passion.

Can I get bulk billed physio treatment?

Physiotherapy treatment is not a normal item covered by Medicare. In special circumstances your GP may write you a chronic disease/injury management plan (CDM). A CDM entitles you to subsidized physiotherapy treatment. If you are also a concession card holder, the treatment can be bulk billed to Medicare.

Do you have after hours and weekend appointments?

Yes we after hours and weekend appointments.

Do you offer clinical Pilates?

We have a fully equipped Pilates studio and we run both mat and reformer Pilates classes. We offer both one on one classes as well as group classes every day of the week.

How do I join a Pilates class?

Joining a class is simple – all you need to do is book an appointment with one our Physiotherapists. Your therapist will custom design a program that suits your specify needs, run you through it a couple of times and then you choose which class you would like to join.

Are you Medibank / BUPA preferred for this service?

Yes we are preferred provider for both Medibank Private and BUPA customers. This entitles you to a discount off our normal treatment fee and your health insurers will provider a higher rebate amount. This means that any gap amount is significantly reduces and in some cases there is no gap. For kids under 25 there is no gap payment on physiotherapy and podiatry consultations.
